In order to serve the land remote sensing comprehensive survey project and comprehensively analyze and study the present situation of the geological environment of land mines in China,it is necessary to carry out the production of mine environment remote sensing monitoring maps of more than 40,000 mines in China on different scales.Due to the large amount of data involved,coupled with frequent data updates and thematic map modification,the simple manual operation has been far from meeting the needs of the actual work,so it is urgent to find new methods to achieve fast and efficient mapping work.Based on the study of the surface contents and basic characteristics of mine thematic map,this paper summarizes the support of batch rapid mapping technology to the production of mine thematic map.The design methods and principles of many parts,such as batch processing of mine vector and raster data and rapid mapping on different scales are analyzed,and the rapid production process of mine environment remote sensing monitoring map is worked out.The batch rapid production of the map is realized.The following work has been completed:First,the spatial data cube model is used to construct the mine geographic database,which is used to manage the mine vector data of multi-year and multi-topic.Through effective organization and standardized storage,the standardized storage of database data and the large-scale production of cartographic data are realized.Secondly,using Python and ArcGIS,combined with mine geographic database,the geographical data are processed in batches to realize the automatic generation of vector and raster data and some related finishing element data for single map drawing.In order to finally achieve the batch production of all maps.Users only need to complete a small amount of preparatory work,which fundamentally changes the situation that operators need to prepare cartographic data by hand in the traditional cartographic process,and effectively improves the efficiency of cartography.Thirdly,with reference to the idea of data cube,a mapping database is constructed to standardize the elements of the map.With the help of basic material database such as font database,color library and mapping framework CartoFrameWork,the automatic configuration and finishing of cartographic information on each scale of 1:2000 to 1: 100000 can be realized,so that it can produce thematic maps that meet the schema requirements of mining departments.The rapid making method of mine environment remote sensing monitoring map developed in this paper can organize the layout content effectively according to the requirements of relevant specifications,and can quickly produce standardized map results in batches.It can effectively improve the data quality,production efficiency and automation of mine thematic map making.The above research results have been applied to the sub-project of land remote sensing comprehensive survey project,and the remote sensing monitoring maps of mine environment in various provinces,autonomous regions and counties have been quickly completed,and good results have been achieved.
