Fast and accurate indoor path planning and navigation is of great significance to daily life and emergency response.With the rapid development of Geographic Information System(GIS)industry,outdoor location based service(LBS)technology has gradually matured,but the development needs of indoor LBS in methods,technology and market are very urgent.At present,indoor positioning and navigation is still an immature research field,facing many challenges.Indoor path network map model is the basis of indoor LBS application scene generation.Effective generation and organization of indoor 3D model data can significantly improve the engineering application ability of indoor LBS.Building Information System(BIM)contains abundant spatial and semantic information.The combination of BIM as the data source of "original ecology" of indoor map and GIS network analysis will be conducive to the efficient generation of indoor path network map.Based on the background of collaborative BIM technology of GIS network analysis,a hybrid 3D indoor path network modeling method based on BIM data and GIS network analysis technology is proposed in this paper.To demonstrate the effectiveness and practicability of the indoor path network model,a mobile indoor navigation prototype system is designed and implemented.The experimental results show that the indoor path network model constructed by GIS and BIM can be effectively used in indoor path network map generation and navigation application scenarios.The main research contents include:(1)Research on BIM data preprocessing method and 3D map scene visualization for indoor path network model.Firstly,the BIM model of the target building is obtained by reverse modeling using building CAD design drawings.After analyzing the data structure of the BIM model,the geometric information,attribute information and texture information contained in the BIM model are derived.The extracted data are lightened by referring to the requirement of GIS management of spatial database.Finally,the visualization of indoor path network model map is realized by HTML5 and WebGL programming,and a 3D map visualization platform for indoor path network model is developed.(2)Research on data organization and construction method of indoor path network model based on BIM data.By integrating the extracted spatial coordinate information and the information of each connection point,the integrated information is managed according to geometric type,semantic type and topological type and stored in PostgreSQL database,and the spatial database constructed by indoor path network model is built.Using HTML5 and WebGL technology,the visualization of indoor path network model is realized in Web browser.Finally,the indoor path network model is embedded in the background data of the basic 3D base map,and the final 3D path network map model is obtained.(3)Research and demonstration of indoor positioning guidance system of Geomatics Institute based on GIS and BIM.By integrating the BIM data preprocessing method for indoor path network model with the construction method,an indoor positioning guidance system of Geomatics Institute based on GIS and BIM is developed,and a systematic empirical study is carried out.The system includes two main functions: indoor navigation and indoor road network model display.Based on this system,the construction method and technological process of indoor path network model based on GIS and BIM are effectively completed.This paper provides a technical scheme for the construction and application of indoor path network model for indoor navigation.The test results show that the indoor path network map model constructed in this paper has certain applicability in indoor path planning,and provides reference and technical support for the follow up study of indoor fine 3D navigation and integration of indoor and outdoor path network.
