Abstract/Summary:
The emergence of vector hydrophone breaks through the limitation of traditional sonar equipment relying on scalar underwater acoustic sensors for a long time.Vector hydrophone can pick up the sound pressure and vibration velocity vectors at a point of sound field synchronously in space.Using the obtained sound pressure and particle velocity,single vector hydrophone can achieve the ambiguous orientation of sound source,which is equivalent to the detection performance of four-element acoustic pressure system.However,most of the assumptions and applications are based on free-field conditions.When vector hydrophones are located on surface ships and underwater submarines,the acoustic field will be distorted due to the influence of acoustic scattering from the carrier baffle.In this paper,the method of signal detection and target azimuth estimation under the condition of rectangular air chamber planar baffle is studied for vector side array sonar.In this paper,the rectangular air chamber sound barrier used in practical engineering is taken as the research object.The rectangular air chamber sound barrier is modeled as an elastic layer system.The complex reflection coefficient is obtained by transfer matrix method.The scattered sound field under the condition of the barrier is expressed as a simple model to describe the reflection coefficient.Based on the signal model under the baffle condition,the signal detection and target azimuth estimation methods of single vector hydrophone and vector linear array under the baffle condition are studied;for the vector side array model under the baffle condition,the signal detection is combined with array processing technology;for the received signal model of vector linear array under the baffle condition,the classical target azimuth estimation algorithm is realized,and through this method,the target azimuth estimation algorithm is realized.The experimental data processing verifies the validity and correctness of the method presented in this paper.
