Geochemical Characteristics And Metallogenic Prospect Prediction Of Buitan Wula Mountain Area In Qinghai Province

The study area is located in the northern margin of qaidam basin in the northeast of the qinghai-tibet plateau,and the main body is located in the south-eastern section of buitan wula mountain.It consists of 1:50,000 maps J47E017002 and J47E017003,with a total area of820km~2.The geotectonic location of the study area belongs to the Qin-Qi-Kunlun orogenic system-Quanji block-Oulongbrook block.There are many strata in the area,such as Proterozoic,Paleozoic,Cenozoic and Quaternary strata,but no Mesozoic strata.There are two groups of faulted structures in the area,nw and ne,of which nw is the main tectonic line.In addition to faults,axial ne folds occurred in local strata.The magmatic rocks in the area are extremely poorly developed,and only the sangaspa rock mass is developed in the area to the west of sangaspagou,the main rock type is flesh red syenite(monzonitic)granitic gneiss.The study area belongs to the Qin-Qi-Kunlun metallogenic region-East Kunlun metallogenic province-Oulongbrook-UlanVariscan Periodrare,tungsten(bismuth,rare earth,gemstone)metallogenic belt.The metallogenic facts are mainly non-metallic minerals,such as coal,quartzite,limestone and so on.Measured area of 1:50,000 stream sediments hasbecompletedis 600 km~2.2416 samples were sampled,among them,1,042 were sampled from high mountainous areas and the average sampling density was 5.9 points/km~2.Through 1:50000 stream sediment survey,the geochemical distribution,distribution and enrichment characteristics of 18 elements in the area have been basically identified,and the geochemical characteristics and distribution regularities of elements in different geological units have been preliminarily analyzed and expounded.14comprehensive anomalies have been delineated,including 9 B3-type anomalies,5 C1-type anomalies.Through investigation,geological survey and geochemical profile survey,etc.The section verifies 4 comprehensive anomalies with Mo,La elements as the main elements,and discovered new mineralization clues such as Fe,Nb,Co and Y.On this basis,1 metallogenic prospects and 2 metallogenic target areas were delineated,which provided important geochemical basic data for future mineral prediction and prospecting work in this area.
