Application Of "3S" Technology In The Second Class Investigation Of Forest Resources

The second type of survey,also known as the forest resource planning and design survey.It is organized by the provincial forestry authorities,and is carried out by county or state-owned forestry bureaus and state-owned forest farms.The purpose is to find out the status and dynamics of forest resources in the survey area,analyze the effects of pre-operational acti-vities,and prepare the cutting quotas for forestry grassroots production units.The forest management plan pro-vides reliable basic data.The traditional second-class survey method uses topographic map visual location,topographic map,and manual mapping.It takes a long time,low efficiency,and high cost.It has obviously not adapted to the development needs of modern precision forestry,and applies high technology to strengthen forest resources survey and Management has become an urgent need.This paper uses literature research method,field investigation method,qualitative quantitative analysis method and other methods to study the application of "3 S" technology in the second-class survey of state-owned Shatang forest farm in Guangxi.In the actual application process,GPS and GIS technology are used to sample the total accumulation.Control the sample layout and positioning,the sample distribution map is accurate and standardized,the sample positioning error is less than 10m,and the actual sampling accuracy reaches 95%.The indoor visual interpretation interpretation division is carried out by using RS technology and GIS technology.A total of 298 small classes were divided into small classes,which were verified by small classes.Among them,290 small class divisions were correct and the correct rate of small class divisions reached 97.3%.GIS technology was used to produce two types of survey thematic maps,and the completed sample distribution maps were basically The map,the forest map,and the forest map are beautiful,clear,uniform,and consistent in style.The practical application and comparative analysis of the "3S" technology in the second category of forest resources survey shows that the "3S" technology is useful for the second-class survey with practicality,advancement and necessity.The "3S" technology is accumulating in the whole.The application of sampling control survey,small class zoning and forest map production reflects the advantages of fast,efficient,high quality and low consumption,which can solve the problems of traditional technology in the second type of survey,such as high cost,long time and low efficiency.It is timely and accurate to grasp the current status and characteristics of forest resources distribution.It is important to monitor the dynamic changes of forest resources,improve the quality and efficiency of the second type of investigation work,save investigation funds,and timely,rational and effective analysis,evaluation and decision-making of forest resources.
