Low-altitude aerial photography system based on UAV has become one of the effective means of geographic information data acquisition.Most propaganda materials show that the measurement accuracy of the photogrammetric system of the small UAV can meet the requirement of 1:500 large scale topographic mapping of the city.But as a majority of users,it is always in doubt and wait-and-see attitude.In order to prove whether the measurement accuracy of the photogrammetric system of small UAV can meet the requirement of 1:500 large scale topographic map in cities,in this study,the low-altitude aerial photography system of FEIMA F300 UAV was selected to carry out topographic map accuracy experiments with different resolution and image control points around a city survey area of 0.8square kilometers.The experimental results show that:(1)When the ground resolution is 2.5 cm,the plane accuracy of DLG is 15.9cm,7.3 cm,5.3 cm and 4.6 cm,and the elevation accuracy of DLG is 11.8 cm,6.7cm,6.7 cm and 6.5 cm,respectively,when 0,5,8 and 11 image control points are evenly laid in the survey area.(2)When the ground resolution is 4 cm,the plane accuracy of DLG is 22.4cm,7.0 cm,5.4 cm and 4.1 cm,and the elevation accuracy of DLG is 21.8 cm,12 cm,8 cm and 7.7 cm,respectively,under the condition of evenly laying out 0,5,8and 11 image control points in the survey area.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)When the ground resolution is 2.5 cm,the plane and elevation accuracy of DLG can meet the accuracy requirement of 1:500 large scale topographic map without image control point(flat elevation point).(2)When the ground resolution is 4 cm,the plane accuracy of DLG meets the accuracy requirement of 1:500 large scale topographic map without image control point(flat elevation point).The elevation accuracy of DLG meets the accuracy requirement of 1:500 large scale topographic map when 7 image control points are evenly laid per square kilometer.(3)When the ground resolution is fixed,increasing the number of image control points can improve the mapping accuracy,but when the number of image control points reaches a certain number,the improvement of mapping accuracy is not obvious.
