Geothermal resources refer to renewable thermal energy stored in the earth.It is a very valuable comprehensive mineral resource.It has many functions and wide applications.It is not only a clean energy resource,but also can be used for power generation,heating,etc.It is a kind of hot brine water resource and natural fertilizer water source for extracting industrial raw materials such as bromine,iodine,borax,potassium salt and ammonium salt.It is also a valuable medical hot mineral water and drinking mineral water resource as well as a domestic water supply source.This paper takes geothermal resources in Yixian County as the research object,and uses the regional geology,geothermal geology and spatial distribution of dew point as the research basis,and analyzes the main characteristics of geothermal control factors,genetic mechanism and spatial distribution in Yixian area.Based on the analysis and evaluation of the genetic types of geothermal resources in the region.By collecting and sorting the geological data of the study area,analyzing the main heat control and heat conduction structures in the area,and analyzing the geothermal mineralization types;inferring the geological structure location,occurrence,scale,and geothermal warming through geophysical work to analyze the metallogenic conditions;The pore data establishes a metallogenic model,summarizes the ore-forming rules,and evaluates the geothermal potential of the study area.The study area is located at the north-south edge of the Mesozoic basin in Fuxin-Yixian County.The basin is a northeast-oriented basin.The basin has complex structures and relatively developed faults.The north-north-east and east-west faults cause basin collapse and volcanic eruptions.The formation of the substrate structure plays a controlling role.The tectonic activity in the study area is strong,the northeastward structure is the main tectonic direction,and the secondary fault is produced along the northwest direction,which provides a good storage space for the formation of heat storage.Especially at the intersection of the NE-trending structure and the North-west direction,the space is relatively large,and the scale of the formation of heat storage is relatively large.The study area is dominated by basin heat conduction,and the thermal reservoir geological structure model is the upper Cretaceous sandstone.The mudstone constitutes the caprock of the study area,with large thickness,weak lithology permeability,and good thermal insulation effect.It is an ideal cover.The middle layer is a well-water-rich sandstone,glutenite,carbonate rock formation,which is a good heat storage layer;the deep part of the upper mantle heat from the deep crust forms a heat generating layer.The heat storage in the study area is evaluated by the geothermal single well model,and the accumulated thermal energy of geothermal fluid is 2.456×107 MJ.
