In the face of hundreds of thousands of kilometers of road construction and millions of kilometers of road maintenance projects each year,traditional road detection technologies cannot meet modern road construction requirements.Non-destructive testing technology of three-dimensional ground penetrating radar is one of the emerging detection technologies in recent years.Its application in road engineering is mainly divided into three aspects.On the one hand,the regional structure layer thickness rapid detection;On the one hand,it is determined by the dielectric constant of large area,and then the uniformity evaluation and analysis of asphalt pavement construction are realized.The other side is to detect the internal diseases and structures of the road,and provide effective structural disease information for the road maintenance design scheme.This paper will study the application of three-dimensional ground penetrating radar nondestructive testing technology in road engineering.It mainly studies three issues: the accuracy and repeatability of three-dimensional ground penetrating radar in the detection of structural layer thickness;the feasibility of three-dimensional ground penetrating radar in the evaluation and analysis of asphalt pavement construction;the basis of radar image analysis for threedimensional ground penetrating radar in structure detection.The first chapter describes the development of non-destructive testing technology for ground penetrating radar,and introduces in detail the research results of the non-destructive testing technology of the ground penetrating radar and the application of the three-dimensional ground penetrating radar.The second chapter introduces the theoretical basis of the electromagnetic wave of ground penetrating radar,sorts out the relationship between permittivity,conductivity and permeability,analyzes the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic waves in the road structure,and understands the equipment composition and working principle of the three-dimensional ground penetrating radar system..The third chapter relies on engineering projects to study the accuracy and repeatability of three-dimensional ground penetrating radar in the detection of structural layer thickness,analyzes the influencing factors of accuracy and repeatability of thickness detection,and put forward the data processing methods of improving structure layer thickness detection accuracy.The fourth chapter studies the feasibility of three-dimensional ground penetrating radar in evaluating and evaluating the large-area homogeneity of asphalt pavement,and analyzes the result of direct evaluation(according to the dielectric constant value and distribution)and indirect evaluation(constructing the relationship between the permittivity and the void ratio),studying the influencing factors for the large-area homogeneity evaluation of three-dimensional ground penetrating radar.The fifth chapter studies the interpretation basis of the three-dimensional ground-penetrating radar image structure,analyzes the stratification of the various structural layers of the road in the radar image,and forms the basis for the interpretation of cracks,interlayer adhesive failure,voiding,looseness,and pipelines.Relying on engineering projects,the feasibility of three-dimensional ground penetrating radar in detecting road structures was verified.
