Copper mines play acrucial role in important strategic reserve resources and mineral resources of our country.We are at a critical stage in adjusting and upgrading of the industrial structure of our economy,and the demand for copper mines remains high.The Honglipo copper mine in Huili County of Sichuan Province is located in the middle section of the Kangdian-Axis,and the orebodies are located in the lower section of the Tianshengba Formation and the upper section of the Luoyu Formation of the Hekou Group,where the copper mineral resources are abundant.This paper builds on the“Research of the Replacement Resources of the Lala Copper Mine in Huili County”from the 403 geological team of the Sichuan Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources.Based on theachievements in the“original detailed investigation?partial?”and the major breakthroughs in the“old mine periphery”surveyin the copper mine of theHongnipo mining area,we investigates the regional stratigraphic conditions,types of ore deposits,ore bodies,ore characteristics,as well as verifying and classifying the resources and types of the mining area.Through the geological exploration of the copper mine,we clearly identifythe technical conditions for mining.Combined with the previous studies,we research on the ore dressing and smelting properties,and formulate a project on how to develop and utilize the Honglipo copper mine.According to the market research and economic evaluations,this paper initially analyzes the social benefits,market prospects,and economic feasibility of the project.Through careful fieldworks,indoor data and previous research results,we conclude that the ore body is mainly distributed in the lower section of the Tianshengba Formation?Pt1t1?and the upper section of the Hekou group?Pt1n2?in the Hekou group,where the main ore-bearing structures are Pre-Sinian system Hekou Group metamorphic sodium volcanic-sedimentary rock series.The formation of the ore deposit has undergone two major mineralization stages,namely,volcanic eruption-sedimentary mineralization and metamorphic hydrothermal alteration and mineralization.The?1?large-scale copper orebodywas surveyed in the upper volcanic sedimentary cycle of the Tianshengba formation in the Hekou group,and the copper metal amount of?331+332+333?reached 545,927 tons,accounting for 98%of the cumulative identified resources in the mining area.We not only find that the Tianshengba Formation is another important ore-bearing horizon of the“La La-style”copper deposit,but alsoconfirm the existence of the“red-slope-remaining-wide-remaining broad-angled syncline”structure.Besides,we conclude that the total amount of copper metal?331+332+333?was557,581 tons with an average grade of 1.67%,submitting a large-scale copper deposit with richer gradesand achieving a major breakthrough of“Lala peripheral looking for Lala”.We have reached out for the goal of resolving the replacement of large state-owned mines in Lala.The total investment of the project is 2,342,878,000 yuan,of which the construction investment is 2,077,452,000 yuan and the construction period is 4 years.The total project cost?including tax?is 615,188,100 yuan.The average annual operating income?including tax?for the year of production was952,991,400 yuan,the total annual profit was 198,273,600 yuan,and the annual net profit was 148,850,200 yuan.The payback period?including tax?is 11.32 years.This project has certain ability to resist risks and to ensure solvency,which proves to be a profitable project.
