As a map language,map symbols are used to pass on the information of the objective world.With the rapid development of computer technology and GIS,map users gradually get involved in the design of the map.Adaptive spatial information visualization has become one of the core and heat directions in map visualization.Taking adaptive map visualization theory mechanism and method as the core which proposed by researcher Wang Yingjie from Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research,this paper improves the existing theories of adaptive map visualization,and it also further explores the theory system of adaptive spatial information visualization map symbols.Meanwhile,in regard to the complicated operation,low-level intelligent and lack of personalized intelligent problems in the existing researches,this paper designs several representative and special statistics map symbols,and also classifies them according to the characteristics of symbols.Furthermore,by using the potential applications of neural network model on knowledge acquisition,knowledge representation and knowledge reasoning in thematic map design,this paper will establish a comprehensive statistics symbol library which based on data adaptive.Finally,it uses this theoretical system to the" Electronic Atlas of Changes in the Population and Environment" system which based on B/S structure,and then verifies the feasibility of the methods and techniques. |
