With the development of earth observation,earth's surface system,space environment detection system,web 2.0 and other technologies,and the appearing of Spontaneous geographic information,public participation in geographic information and other new geographic information production and dissemination sharing concepts,The development of earth system science in data acquisition and distribution sharing is comprehensively promoted.The quantity of geospatial data is increasing at a tremendous speed.How to efficiently and accurately obtain the user's needed and reliable data from massive data resources is an urgent problem to be solved.It is an urgent problem that.Two major problem are main bottleneck in data sharing.(1)The provenance information of existing data is mostly in the form of metadata or data documents,and the description is not canonical.It is difficult to assess the reliability of data and seriously impact the use of data.(2)Traditional retrieval technology based on keywords matching,ignoring rich meaning in data and relationship between data,it cannot solve the problem that recall and precision ratio is low in the retrieval and it is caused by semantic heterogeneous.Ontology should express clearly concepts and relations in domain through the formalized method and the standardized language,and have a powerful inference mechanism,which can establish the intelligent relation between data.Therefore,provenance,an important geographical spatial data research object,Combing it with the ontology theory to study,constructing provenance ontology,it is an effective way and method to solve geospatial data precise discovery and nonstandard provenance information description.This paper mainly studies the following three aspects.(1)On the basis of systematic analysis of geospatial data provenance,focused on subject and object of data during full life cycle,combined with the characteristics of geospatial data,put forward provenance-ontology model and defined the provenance.Considered people,agent,activity and process in provenance-ontology model,this paper puts forward the concepts system of geospatial data provenance-ontology from the point of data discovery,sharing and use.(2)Put forward a five-tuple model of geospatial data provenance-ontology and formal expression method about the relationship between concepts and their attributes in provenance ontology.The construction method of ontology is studied,the construction content and process of provenance ontology are explained,and finally the ontology library is formed.(3)Developing the application of geographic spatial data provenance ontology in data linking,and studying data linking methods,process and linking rules based on provenance ontology.The key technologies of ontology analysis,query and reasoning are discussed in detail.Designed and developed the geospatial data linking retrieval system based on provenance ontology,analyzed and evaluated the experiment result.In conclusion,this paper develops the application of geospatial data provenance ontology in data linking,achieving natural transition from theory to practice.To a certain extent,it solves some problems that the provenance information description of geospatial data is not standardized and intelligent accurate data discovery,etc.It has important practical value for promoting data sharing.It also enriches the contents of geodata ontology and data linking in theory and application.
