Medical image,is an important auxiliary means for doctors of the diagnosis and treatment to patients.Its appearance based on X-ray which was discovered by Wilhelm Konrad Rontgen.With the development of science and technology,the X-ray has gradually applied to the examination of medicine,and at the same time,a variety of medical imaging equipment develop faster and faster.With these devices,we can do the medical image.And then,with the rise of some digital imaging technology in the seventies of the 20 th century,the medical image archiving and communication system(PACS)is the very inevitable development in the medical science and technology.The formation and development of the DICOM standard promoted information exchange and transmission of digital medical image.The medical image makes the manufacturers of medical imaging equipment provide all the patients with a unified standard.So,the DICOM standard increase much possibilities for the digital medical images(DICOM images).In recent years,with the popularity of mobile Internet and the widely used of intelligent mobile phone,the mobile phone as the core of the intelligent technology attract people’s attention more and more.At the same time,the Android mobile phone operating system shares obvious advantages in the market.With the continuous development of the spiritual and cultural level of the people,more and more patients and doctors need see the DICOM image in anywhere and anytime,not only view the DICOM image,but also need some other more operation for demand.The design of the Android mobile phone application platform is not restricted by time and place to view the DICOM medical image,moreover,it can also be used in image operation.The mainly work of this paper covers the following aspects:1)Referred to the domestic and foreign literatures about the DICOM medical image based on the mobile phone application platform,combined with the market demand and the status quo and the existing technology,and then conceived the function of the system.2)According to the current situation of the mobile phone market,chose Android application system as the platform of the system,so that more people can benefit from this system.3)Learned DICOM 3.0 standard,used the data structure given from the DICOM 3.0 standard files to analysis and read the DICOM image.Finally through some algorithm to do simple processing on the image,and then achieved the designed function one by one.In the process of the realization,did continuous test and application analysis.4)At last,do a complete test the system,the response speed of each page is smooth and the function fully meets the design requirements.
