Rocky desertification is the reflection of land degradation in China's vast Karst area,which has brought a great impact on the ecological environment and great test to the present and future social and economic development.In order to solve this ecological problem,the relevant areas have input a lot of human and financial resources,and achieved some success.Based on the distribution of rocky desertification in Enshi City,this paper studies its evolution characteristics and causes,and provides a reliable scientific basis for the construction of the rocky desertification in Enshi City and the construction of Xianju Enshi.In this paper,we selected the ETM + of 2008 and the remote sensing image of OLI in 2014,we collected the relevant basic data of Enshi City,and carried out detail related research,using RS and GIS to deal with the relevant information,and we got a more comprehensive related data of city rocky desertification.In the study,the theory of geostatistics is used to interpolate the data of missing region.The logistic transformation of the rocky desertification index is followed by the logarithmic transformation.We used the exponential model of ordinary Kriging method,and obtained more accurate spatial distribution map of rocky desertification index and related data.The change course is 36 km,and according to the spatial interpolation of the spatial area of the rocky desertification index,the complete distribution map is obtained.And result in further conversion into a nudity rate of rocky desertification.This can be an important standard of division of rocky desertification.With the help of the superposition analysis function of GIS,the distribution state of different rocky transfer state map was obtained.Analysis and compare the rocky desertification distribution map and data of the recent two years,the distribution probability of the rocky desertification in Enshi was obtained.According to the survey data,it summarize the genesis mechanism of rocky desertification in Enshi City.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)In general,the area of karst geology in Enshi City is large,it occupies a largerproportion,accompanied by fragile ecological environment,and the city is mainly composed of mild rocky desertification.(2)From the spatial distribution,the rocky desertification in Enshi City was mainly concentrated in the central area of the city in 2008.In 2014,the distribution of rocky desertification in Enshi City changed greatly,and the rocky desertification mainly concentrated in the northern area.It shows the uneven of different measures taken in different towns.And this leads the variety of rocky desertification distribution in different two years.(3)From the dynamic analysis,the rocky desertification in Enshi City has been effectively controlled from 2008 to 2014,and its evolution characteristic is that it reduces the amount of damage in the non-rocky desertification area.The rocky desertification area has been effectively managed,each level of rocky desertification area are significantly reduced.
