Historical literature contains a large number of meteorological information,it is a valuable proxy data for the study of climate change of the history. In this paper, historical literature of Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and Shanghai in Qing dynasty, including different climate information, was excavated and researched using data mining methods and GIS,which aimed at exploring the regular knowledge of the spatio-temporal evolution implied by the climate cold and warm data of the study area from the angle of time sequence and social response with multi-scale,multi-method and a variety of data sources,to understand the development trend of cold and warm changes of the climate. The main conclusions are:(1)Formulate the discriminant standard of the level of cold and warm, reconstruct the winter level sequence of cold and warm year by year of Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and Shanghai in Qing dynasty, the results show that climate change can be roughly divided into two cold period and a warm period.Among them, the cold period mainly concentrated in the period of 1644?1719 and 1820?1911,while warm session focused on the period of 1720?1819.(2)Do Mutation detection to the sequence with the sliding T test, the 10a jump point(or jump interval)of Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and Shanghai is 7,changes in cold and warm jump frequently, and the 30a jump point number is 2,the change has a high stability.(3)Wavelet analysis shows that the cycle changes in cold and warm grade sequence in the characteristic time scale of 70?80a,38 to 42a and 8?11a has a relatively global superiority, the cycle change of 20?23a scale is obvious between 1690?1690,the cycle change of 15?18a scale is obvious before 1720 year and after 1830 year.Through power spectrum analysis, the significant cycles of the reconstructed sequence of cold and warm grades are six,and the first main cycle is 40a.(4)Seeing from the space,in Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and Shanghai area during the Qing dynasty, the places where snow frozen disasters more frequently happened mainly distributed in southern Jiangsu,Shanghai, southwest region in Anhui and parts of the Middle East of Zhejiang,in most of the northern area of Jiangsu and Anhui and southern Zhejiang, the frequency of occurrence is low.(5)Through four indicators, frozen of the sea, frozen of Taihulake, frozen of the Huangpu River and the southern boundary of snow, research was conducted on the years and its characteristics which were extream cold in Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and Shanghai. And the winter anomaly cold chronology was established.By rebuilding the cold winter conditions of Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and Shanghai in 1861?1862,a detailed analysis was conducted on the weather progress and the impact on the human activities.(6)By summing up the development of agriculture, environment, population, society in of Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and Shanghai area, the impact of climate change was studied.
