Study area belongs to the Zhongyian urban agglomeration is located in the east of Zhengzhou and the west of Kaifeng.It is necessary to find out hydrogeological conditions,geological conditions,and the storage of water resources about the study area,considering the environmental geological problems in the process of urbanization.Therefore,to analysis the balance sheet and evaluate the groundwater resources in the study area respectively,we need a groundwater flow numerical simulation software GMS,which can be used to build a three-dimensional unsteady flow model for the time between 1998 and 2012.According to the balance sheet,it is turned out that the convertible aquifer group supplies of simulation area mainly cover the rainfall replenishment,the irrigation infiltration,the Yellow river side seepage,and the canal seepage,which occupy the 92.77 proportion of the total recharge which is 8.74×108 m3/a,and the Supply model is 26.24×104 m3/km2·a;that mining has become a main approach to drain,which occupy the 86.45 proportion of the total discharge.For the confined aquifer group,the main supply is leakage,which occupy the 71.97 proportion of the total recharge which is 1.95×108 m3/a,and the Supply model is 4.72×104 m3/km2.a,and the main discharge items are the artificial mining and the urban concentration mining,which occupy the 85.27 proportion of the total discharge.In addition,the recoverable rescurce Vf the convertible aquifer group is 5.94×108 m3/a and the confined aquifer group is 1.36×108 m3/a.Analysis the water level and the water level drawdown of each layer for planning mining in 20 years by comparing the scheme one which the recoverable resources is regarded as the prediction model production and the scheme two which the average production for the time between 1998 and 2012 is regarded as the prediction model production,it can be turned out that the scheme one is more reasonable.On the basis of present flow model,we build a groundwater flow prediction model about the backup water source for the time between 2013 and 2032 in the condition of planing mining.It is turned out that backup water source of new production 49.3 ×104 m3/d is permitted.For the convertible aquifer group,the newly increased production is mainly derived from the increased Yellow river side seepage,the reduced evaporation,the increased lateral inflow and the use of storage capacity.For the confined aquifer group,the newly increased production is mainly derived from increased leakage of shallow flow,the increased lateral inflow and the use of storage capacity.On the basis of groundwater flow prediction model in the condition of planning mining,trace tracer module of GMS and reverse tracking method are used for conducting the water source reserves about the four backup water source.Finally,some relevant protection measures are put forward.
