With the rapid development of economy and society,the role of knowledge in enterprises is gradually increasing as it is becoming the most important core-competitiveness and productivity of enterprises,only through knowledge and technology can enterprises maintain a better management and a good development trend.As carriers of knowledge,knowledge workers have to improve their own competitiveness through continuous learning of theory and practice,and the competitiveness can take a full play only under enterprises' appropriate incentive system,fair and superior salary system is necessary for knowledge workers,but single salary incentive system is not enough.The employees of Shanxi R thermal power plant studied in this paper are a group of knowledge workers with high academic degree as well as rich experiences,such employees are attractive to every thermal power plant because it means that the enterprise has potentials to develop their core competitiveness,but it is a big difficulty faced by R thermal power plant to transform the advantages of knowledge workers to the core competitiveness of enterprises through appropriate incentive system.On the basis of researching knowledge workers and the related theories of knowledge worker motivation,knowledge workers of different academic degrees in R thermal power plant are taken as the respondents,the existing problems and reasons of knowledge worker incentive system of R thermal power plant are analyzed through questionnaires,and optimal schemes are put forward to knowledge worker incentive system of R thermal power plant by combining related theories and cases,finally the salary system of R thermal power plant is determined as a multi-track salary system based on job rank and salary point grade,and the promotion system,enterprise culture,training systemand organizational environment are improved at the same time,finally the implementation of knowledge incentive system of R thermal power plant is guaranteed by the leadership of leaders,sound employment mechanism and fair performance evaluation mechanism of R thermal power plant.
