Iron and steel industry is the pillar industry of our national economic development,since reform and development,China's iron and steel industry has changed from weak to strong,and achieved the growth of scale and quality.Also want to see represented by HX steel enterprises in the process of development,there are also many problems and challenges,it is mainly manifested in the prominent contradiction of overcapacity,obvious resource and environmental constraints,and the need to strengthen the construction of industrial chain.Facing the fierce competition environment,in order to survive and develop,iron and steel enterprises must enter the stage of transformation and upgrading,from internal production management to improve performance.Lean six sigma management theory is recognized by domestic scholars and confirmed by enterprise practice,it is a practical management theory.It is of great help to improve the internal management level and product quality of iron and steel enterprises.In this paper,taking HX steel company as a case study,this paper discusses in detail how lean six sigma management is applied to the internal production management process of iron and steel enterprises,and evaluating the implementation effect.The first part focuses on the introduction of research background,research significance,research status at home and abroad.The second part focuses on lean six sigma operation management theory,including lean production theory,six sigma management theory,lean six sigma integration and method system.In the third part of this paper,the necessity of implementing lean six sigma management in HX company is analyzed,including the problems and challenges in production management,and the necessity of implementing the project,project training,management preparation,DMAIC process development,on-site 6s management,etc.This part is the promotion mechanism of HX lean six sigma management,including guarantee mechanism,incentive mechanism,self-improvement mechanism,innovation mechanism.The fourth part evaluates the effect of lean six sigma management.The research shows that lean six sigma management is helpful to improve the product quality of iron and steel enterprises,standardize internal management.
