Study On The Urbanization Quality Of Western Economy Uplift Belt In Shandong Province

Urbanization creates enormous social and economic changes,which promotes the advancement of human society.In the process of urbanization,various urban problems arise,such as resource waste,extensive economic growth pattern,low environmental capacity,unbalanced regional development and so on.These questions hinder the urban healthy and sustainable development.Therefore,to transform the development patterns and raise the capability of sustainable development are our inevitable choices.Our government indicates that we should take more attention on the economic quality and make great efforts to improve the quality of urbanization.Cooperation between cities plays an important role to promote the quality of urbanization.Urbanization in Shandong province has developed rapidly.However,the western economy uplift belt in Shandong province is far falling behind compared with the eastern part.The gap of development between the east and west of Shandong province definitely hinders the healthy development of the urbanization.Based on the national and provincial development plans,this research aims to make a quantitative evaluation of the research area's urbanization quality.Then,according to the existing problems,this paper put forwards some strategies to push forward the process of urbanization,and offers several valuable references to other areas of China.Firstly,the relevant researches at home and abroad are introduced.On the basis of the status analysis,this paper discusses the basic principles of establishment of index system that including scientific principle,comprehensive principle,level principle,people-centered principle,etc),and builds the index system(including five-storeyed structure and 30 indexes).Then,the weight of each indicator has been calculated by entropy method.Through the analysis to discuss the temporal change trend and spatial differences of research area's urbanization quality.Specifically,We can find that:(1)There is a wide difference between the east area and west area.The indicators of research are lower than the provincialaverage level.(2)The urbanization quality of research area is rising year by year.(3)The scores of society quality and economic quality in research area are comparatively higher than that of living quality,urban and rural overall development and ecological quality.(4)The spatial differences of urbanization quality are significant,with the gap between cities increasing.The overall level of Linyi and Jining is comparatively higher than other cities.On the economic quality front,Liaocheng is at the top of the list,and Zaozhuang is the last one.On the social quality front,Dezhou is on the first place,and Zaozhuang is the last one.On the living quality front,Zaozhuang is the best one,and Liaocheng is the worst.The quality of urban and rural overall development of Jining is better than other cities,Zaozhuang is the worst.On the ecological quality front,Jining heads the list,Zaozhuang comes in last.At last,the regional and city strategies are put forward.Such as re-adjusting and optimizing the industrial structure,strengthening infrastructure construction,promoting development of urban and rural integration,protecting the environment,enhancing interregional connections,and so on.
