Research On The Formation Mechanism Of Enterprise Positive Environmental Behavior

Environment is the guarantee of human social development,however,environmental pollution and destruction is a serious threat to human survival.As an important part of social and economic system,enterprises is also the subject of environmental damage.Externality theory views that government is the main body of management enterprise environmental behavior.However,because of information asymmetry,and appearing the phenomenon beyond environmental regulation to take positive environmental behavior,the existing research begins to shift perspective on positive corporate environmental behavior from the government level to the enterprise level.With enterprise as the main body,research on the formation of enterprise positive environmental behavior provides new ideas for environmental governance.Starting from the enterprise level,this paper aims at the phenomenon of enterprise positive environmental behavior,then explores the motivation of enterprises to take positive environmental behavior,in order to deduce the formation mechanism of enterprise positive environmental behavior,which provides suggestions to promote the enterprise positive environmental behavior.Based on the enterprise positive environmental behavior as the research main body,this paper takes the way of combination of theoretical research and empirical test.Starting from the multi-task principal-agent model,theoretical research inspects agent enterprises’ and the principal government’ behavior choice,and sets up profit function of the two main body,from which this paper receives the influence factors of enterprise and government behavior incentive.On this basis of the above theoretical research,this paper sets up the assumption of model diagram.Enterprise positive environmental behavior model diagram puts economic performance,environmental performance and social performance as internal motive force,while external factors such as social compulsory and market,internal factors such as strategy,organizational structure and resources,and partial mediating role of enterprise environmental behavior response,this three aspects constitute the driving force.The empirical part analyzes the ten latent variables in the model,then designs the questionnaire to collect data,at last tests empirically the hypothesis model through a structural equation model.This empirical test verifies the influence of the social mandatory,the market,the degree of response and the economic performance.It’s worth noting that the intermediary role of the degree of response is confirmed,through social mandatory and market’s direct and indirect effects on the behavior of corporate environmental,meanwhile the driving force within the economic performance also pass the test.That’s to say,the leading role of enterprises in the enterprise positive environmental behavior is confirmed.At the last of the paper,this study puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the formation mechanism of enterprise positive environmental behavior,from the perspective of external driving force and internal motive force.
