Research On The Development Of China-korea Crossborder E-commerce

China and South Korea are very important trade partners,China has become South Korea's largest trading partner and the largest source of imports and export destination,while South Korea is the largest import source of China,China and South Korea bilateral trade volume accounted for South Korea's foreign trade 23.6%,more than the sum of the bilateral trade volume between South Korea and the United States,Japan and Europe.China and South Korea signed a free trade agreemen in 2015,will be cooperate in many fields,especially cross-border e-commerce fully developed.Therefore,the research on the development of cross-border ecommerce in China-Korea FTA becoming very necessary.This paper analysed China-Korea current bilateral trade and cross-border e-commerce in FTA,analysed the advantages and disadvantages to develop cross-border e-commerce.Through theoretical analysis the mechanism of cross-border e-commerce and foreign trade,concluded that cross-border e-commerce could influence foreign trade through optimizing the process of foreign trade,simplify customs clearance procedures to promote foreign trade growth,while foreign trade growth also could promote cross-border e-commerce developed.Then using 30 provinces panel data for the period of 2001-2015 to demonstrate.The result revealed that ChinaKorea e-commerce and foreign trade has a cointegration relationship,and the findings indicated both China and Korea exist a unidirectional causality from e-commerce to foreign trade.Based on China-Korea current bilateral trade and cross-border e-commerce situation and the theoretical and empirical research conclusions,proposed some policy ssuggestions,from the government and enterprises view,to promote China-Korea FTA cross-border e-commerce further development.
