Study On Academic Communication Of China Association For Science And Technology

With the development of technology all over the world,there is a strong need for China to establish a better system for technology and innovation.The association for science and technology(CAST)is supposed to promote innovation,so it is important to discuss how to manage technology NGOs,especially academic communication,more effectively.In this context,we confirm the definition of technology NGO first.Based on the concept,we analyze CAST and the academic communication situation of CAST.For the reason of history,CAST has a complex structure which contains government and NGOs,leading to bureaucratic management.In addition,CAST lacks atmosphere of innovation and supervision,not to mention an international influence.All these aspects need to be improved in the future.According to the analysis and relevant theory,we put forward that CAST should improve its academic management by improving the influence of its academic communication events.CAST should try online academic communication systems and share academic results of the events.CAST should be more independent of government when it comes to academic events.To have a greater international influence,CAST must pay attention to the technology journals.
