As the public paying more and more attention on the environment and public health,how to properly deal with waste products has been popular in environmental regulators projects,especially in the field of electrical and electronic waste recycling.To solve the problem,various countries have implemented different levels of environmental rules and regulations.As an environmental regulation aiming at waste recycling,Extend Producer Responsibility(EPR)policy has been accepted and executed by many countries,including China.If the producers,as the regulated object by EPR policy,want to give a good response to the country's environmental regulation,they must rely on the supply chain as the basic unit to bear responsibility.The main purpose of this paper is providing theory support for the producer and the other players on the supply chain in the supply chain alliance choice and decision and helps them better bear the extended responsibility.The main content of this thesis is summarized as follows: first,we analyze the two different types of EPR(Extended Producer Responsibility and Extended Product Responsibility)policy led by the European Union and the United States.And we then summarize the two modes of different supply chain structure under the two types of EPR policy.Combining the actual environment of Chinese government regulation system,we choose the supply chain structure including a manufacturer and a retailer and two recyclers under EPR policy.Secondly,based on the supply chain structures we consider four regional cooperation models,and choose both completely centralized model and completely uncentralized model as a benchmark model.In addition to the supply chain profit maximization,we add the reference factor of EPR based on different decision preference.Finally,we analyze the supply chain decision and the corresponding income,and study the effect of the EPR system for the decision of supply chain and the players.In this thesis,the main innovation points as follows: 1)We add two recyclers in the structure of the supply chain.Thus,we can simulate three conditions of recycling in real practice: manufacturers recycling waste products,cooperating with third-party recycler to recycle waste products,manufacturers entrusting a third party to recycle waste products;2)The existing research literature always takes the profit as the objective function in this research field.This thesis will first consider EPR efficiency factors in the model.And according to the manufacturing enterprise scale and decision preference,we design the three EPR efficiency factors.We also study the influence of EPR system for supply chain cooperation model by solving and analyzing the model.
