As a strategic industry of national economy,tourism has many advantages,such as low resource consumption,providing many employment opportunities and good comprehensive benefits.With the further development of industrialization,informatization,urbanization,marketization,rapid improvement of high-speed transportation system,especially the steady increase in per capita national income and growing popularity and diversity of consumer demand,tourism of China has more and more opportunities.But at the same time,under the fierce competition in the market economy,70% of the tourism enterprises which are state-owned,are facing severe challenges and urgent tasks of deepening reform.The salary system of those tourism enterprises is severely restricting employee enthusiasm,initiative and creativity.As there are more and more problems appearing in the salary system,many tourism enterprises begin to exploring new salary management model.Since the 1990 s broad banding first emerged in the United States,it has been widely applied in a number of well-known enterprises at home and abroad.By analyzing the problems of SZ company's current compensation system,this article will design a new compensation system based on the theory of broad banding.The article analyzes the company's compensation management situation and identifies the main problems in the current compensation system.In the next part,we design the new broad banding compensation system and elaborates on the main points of the broad banding compensation system,at the same time proposes appropriate measures.
