The Research On Risk Identification And Prevention Of Natural Gas Industry Chain

With the increasing environmental problems,more and more attention has been paid on the energy structure by the government.Natural gas,as a relative clean fossil fuel,whose status and proportion in energy structure has been rising.After years of rapid development,the natural gas market in downstream in China obtained a quickly growth,however,all kinds of problems existing in the industry chain start to expose,too.Because of the imperfect connections between the streams in the industry chain,both gas shortage and gas oversupply happened in natural gas market,which not only cause enormous losses to the participants in the markets,but also is a huge restriction to the development of the industry chain.This paper uses case study to analyze the risks in natural gas industry chain.Given the mass of the links and factors involved in the natural gas industry chain,this paper starts the study from the downstream market which can be observed easily.The paper chooses Cangzhou Dahua Group Co.Ltd,Hangzhou Banshan Power Group and Beijing Gas Refco Group Ltd as sample cases,and studies them from the aspects of electricity generation,chemical gas and household gas,specifically,the author visited and talked with the managers in the three companies,tracked to the midstream and upstream of their gas chain,and then tried to restore the process in which the risks arise with the comprehensive,accurate and detailed first-hand data.After this,by combining with the previous study literature,the paper trys to recognize the risks in the natural gas chain from the perspective of risk factors,regional difference and the characters of streams in the chain,analyse streams in the chain respectively and also the relationships between them,find out the causes to the risks in the gas chain and provide corresponding measures to solve and avoid them.
