In recent years,as the trend of global integration continues to intensify,the scope of competition among banking financial institutions has been expanding constantly.There are also obvious changes in the level and characteristics of competition.The focus of competition among banks has shifted from the original capital,Market competition into talent competition,effective human resources management and development has become an important way for banks to gain competitive advantage,and performance appraisal is an important part of human resources management,performance appraisal has now become the study of banks and theorists focus.XY Bank studied in this paper is a large state-owned bank,which has formed a relatively mature management system in performance appraisal and revised the appraisal method year by year.However,due to a series of reasons such as banking system,some problems still exist in the performance evaluation system of XY Bank Nanjing Branch.Based on this,this paper takes XY Bank Nanjing Branch as an example,first examines the current status of the performance evaluation of XY Bank Nanjing Branch;secondly,based on the questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the current performance evaluation problems of XY Bank Nanjing Branch.The findings include the following six aspects: the lack of scientific and complete assessment indicators;poor performance appraisal and communication;the assessment process is not comprehensive;assessment results are not effective;the proportion of non-financial indicators is too low;technology Backward means,low level of information,and a large number of data integration deficiencies.Based on the investigation of the above problems,the reasons for its emergence are analyzed.Finally,the performance evaluation indicators of XY Bank Nanjing Branch are optimized from the four dimensions of finance,customer,internal process,staff learning and growth.The research in this paper has a certain extent of reference for other branches of XY Bank and even the entire XY bank.
