Nowadays,with continuous development of market economy,around the question about how to ensure the realization of corporate business target,focus on performance management became a prerequisite to gain competitive advantage in facing to intensive market competition.From 90th of last century,with multiple activities such as corporate process recreation and implementation of total quality management,the concept and institution of performance appraisal has been changed dramatically as well,which originally more focusing on achieving financial targets,turn to promoting overall business performance,and thus,the role of performance management became more and more important.This article selects the Company V-the wholly-owned subsidiary of company K in China as the research and study objective.Company K is one multinational private company with headquarter in United States,while company V is operating China,given the talent market serious competition environment in China,as well the ineffective implementation of performance management system of Company V in China,the company employees have been at a high state of loss.Therefore,this paper incorporated some intrinsic characteristics of Chinese labor market,take various performance management theory knowledge from Company V's performance management system as the foundation,and refer to status quo and deficiency of the performance management system in Company V,propose the principles and improving measures company V could take for designing the performance management system which is suitable for its further growth in China.This article is drafted based on the related performance management research achievements of company K,provides the data analysis on employee turnover rate of company V,and further dug the problems which encountered during implementation of Company V's performance management system by deploying employee interview,provided further optimization proposals for Company V from different perspectives like organizational structure,learning and development,culture buildup,which not only offers practicing basis for its further improvement,also provides a reference on solutions for other enterprises.
