As a megacity in China,Shanghai is famous for its rapid economy development and large concentration of population.The advantage of economic agglomeration is development but the disadvantage of it is fact that the contradiction between people and land is becoming more and more prominent.On the one hand,during the years of the 13th Five-Year Plan,Shanghai strictly controls the total construction land.Besides,it should also make the negative growth of the total amount of land planned come true by 2020.On the other hand,those enterprises with backward production capacity have long occupied the construction land,even the agricultural land.The land resource has been abused and the environment has been destroyed.Among them,the contradiction of suburb areas is particularly prominent.Currently,the extensive economy development model is no longer applicable."Resource conserving and environment friendly" is the only way for the transformation of economy and society.It's green and sustainable.I select a special suburb town in Shanghai as my research object.Due to the dismatch of the land using structure and the requirement of economy development,the land pollution and destruction in this town is typical.Therefore,this town has become the first town in Shanghai to carry out comprehensive environment improvement.According to the characteristics of the environment improvement and this special "Land Consolidation+" era,I further define the relevant practice of the town as comprehensive environment improvement guided by ecological landscape.The environment improvement practised in H town is part of the related improvement work in metropolitan suburbs.Practice has proved that its positive impact on the transformation of economy and society is significant.First of all,it curbs the land abuse,restores the damaged land,improves rural ecological environment and regulates population to a certain extent.Secondly,it is advantageous to optimize the space structure of the whole city.Through the reduction of inefficient land utilization,people are able to make good use of the precious construction land resource.The land index for the future development will be stored through relevant policies.Finally,it makes space for the country park which helps to develop modern high-efficiency agriculture industry and find a way to inherit rural culture.In this way,farmers can increase their income.Both rural productivity and the modernization of agriculture will be promoted.In addition,it has also made appropriate adjustment to the population size which reduces the risk caused by the introduction of disorderly population.Land consolidation seems to safeguard the development of economy and society passively,but it also promotes the transformation of them.From the micro perspective,it brings better rural view.From the macro perspective,it comprehensively contributes to the economic transformation,ecological civilization construction and beautiful rural construction from the aspects of economy,society,culture,ecology and so on.
