At present, economic globalization and regional economic integration have entered the fast-track.Companies from all over the world have taken international express trains to seize the opportunities of globalization in the fierce international market environment.Companies use geographical differences on a global scale and the advantages of resource to realize the effective allocation of resources so as to maximize the benefits. With the rapid growth of China's economy,Chinese companies continue to focus on overseas markets. But will the company's overseas operations improve performance? Although the relationship between corporate internationalization and business performance has always been a hot topic in international business research, there has been no clear answer to the question of whether international operations can improve corporate performance.Changes in the world's landscape and major changes in the domestic and international situation continue to push Chinese companies to go abroad and go to the world stage. Therefore, research on internationalization performance can provide some reference perspectives for Chinese companies' overseas operations. The Yangtze River Delta is one of the most representative areas in China with the most economically active development potential. The leading area in the manufacturing sector has occupied the status of “Golden Waterway” and “Excellent Coast”,and at the same time “One Belt,One Road” national strategy radiating the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The unique location factors provide necessary conditions for promoting economic and trade cooperation and development in the region. This article takes a sample of A-share manufacturing listed companies in the Yangtze River Delta region as a sample to explore the relationship between the degree of internationalization of manufacturing companies in the Yangtze River Delta region and business performance. The research system in this paper is divided into five parts. The first is to explain the research background and significance of research, literature review and evaluation, research methods, research ideas, innovations and deficiencies;the second is to introduce the degree of internationalization and business performance of the manufacturing enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region. The third is to study the influence of the “internationalization-operational performance” relationship and situational factors. The fourth is to empirically analyze the degree of internationalization of manufacturing enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region. The relationship between corporate internationalization and business performance, contextual factors(enterprise resources and regional differentiation)are demonstrated, and the model is tested in terms of stability and endogenousness.Fifth, corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed based on conclusions drawn from the thesis. This article argues that there is a U-shaped relationship between the degree of internationalization of manufacturing enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region and business performance, and that corporate resources have a regulatory effect on this type of U-shaped relationship,in which the scale of enterprises is adjusting this relationship, and the tangible resources are negative.Adjusting this relationship, the positive effect of intangible resources can offset the negative impact of tangible resources. At the same time, regional differentiation analysis of the Yangtze River Delta found that the degree of internationalization of manufacturing companies in Jiangsu,Zhejiang, and Shanghai is in a U-shaped relationship with operating performance;Anhui Not sure about the relationship between the two. This article innovatively takes corporate resources and regional differentiation as contextual factors to consider the relationship between the “degree of internationalization and operational performance” of the company, and puts forward relevant recommendations from the perspectives of sustainable development of the company on the three perspectives of the enterprise, government, and industry association. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the characteristics and problems in the process of internationalization of manufacturing enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta Region, and to provide some ideas for the improvement of the internationalization performance of manufacturing companies.
