With the continuous development of the society, more and more rural labor force in pursuit of higher wages, better life into the city, but behind this,it reflects the low level of urbanization in China, and the poor management of rural migrant workers in the city and many other problems. Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the subject. The rural kinship in rural China since ancient times, such as information exchange between fellow villagers and helping each other during a busy period, make us pay attention to the unique Chinese characteristics of this subject. So,this article mainly discusses the role of social capital in the flow of labor and industrial mobility,as well as its role in adapting to urban life.Through the revision of the Todaro model, using the 2013 China Household Income Survey Institute of Beijing Normal University(hereinafter referred to as CHIP 2013 data),binary and multivariate logit models to further discuss the issue of labor mobility. After combating previous research results and analyzing the characteristics of rural labor mobility in China,we divide social capital into urban social capital and rural social capital, after the revision of the Todaro's population flow model,it is deduced that the urban social capital helps to promote the outflow of labor force, while the rural social capital has an inhibitory effect on the outflow of labor force. In the article, urban social capital is represented by information, trust and lack of capital, and social capital in rural areas is represented by solidarity, cooperation and social relationships.According to the empirical results, when the labor force flows out of the rural areas, the information will significantly increase the probability of going out to work.At the same time, mutual aid, cooperation and social relationships will significantly reduce the probability of going to work. The most rural labor force chooses the second industry, and the rural household registration has a significant role in choosing the tertiary industry.Compared with the tertiary industry, the social capital plays a greater role in choosing the secondary industry. In the process of labor force flowing into the city, the trust will significantly improve the happiness of migrant workers, and the lack of social capital will significantly reduce their happiness level of life. Therefore,we put forward three policy suggestions.First of all,we should let fellow countrymen play a role.We should also broaden the channels of employment information and expand the social circle of migrant workers. Moreover,we should protect the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers and improve their consciousness. Finally, paying more attention to the rural areas development, raising the income of rural laborers, playing the role of "pull" of rural social capital, making rural areas and cities develop together.
