Located in central China,Anhui Province is one of the provinces in China that entered the aging society earlier. As of the end of 2015,the province's population aged 60 years and over had 11.02 million people, accounting for 17.29% of the total population;the population aged 65 and over had 7.006 million, accounting for 11.73% of the total population,of which the urban population was 310.72 million. The population aged or above accounts for 9.85% of the total urban population, and the urban population is aging. In recent years, the process of urbanization in Anhui Province has been accelerating, and the integration of urban and rural areas has continued to advance. The urban elderly population has been increasing year by year, which has had a certain impact on the urbanization and economic development of Anhui.Studies have shown that the elderly population in urban areas in Anhui Province has a large population ratio, rapid growth, unprecedented wealth, and large differences between urban and rural areas. The consumption habits and spending power of the elderly population are very different from those of the labor force. The increase in the elderly population will inevitably have a profound impact on the consumption level and consumption structure of urban residents in Anhui Province. Therefore, the urban population of Anhui Province alone is affected.Aging research is very necessary. This paper sorts out the urban population data and consumption data in Anhui Province and discusses the issue of residential consumption based on the ageing population of urban residents.Based on this,it puts forward corresponding policy recommendations to actively respond to the social problem of population aging and improve residents. The level of consumption improves the consumption structure of residents.Based on the time series data from 1994 to 2015,this paper uses the standard consumer model and grey correlation to empirically analyze the urban residents' consumption level and urban residents' consumption structure. The research results show that the urban residents' consumption level is mainly affected by the per capita disposable income of urban residents and the age structure of the population. The per capita consumption expenditure of urban residents is positively correlated with the per capita disposable income of urban residents. It is negatively correlated with the aging population of urban residents. The aging population increases by 1 unit and the marginal propensity to consume decreases by 0.133 units. From the largest to the least, clothing, education, entertainment, food expenditure, health care, daily necessities and services, transportation and communications, housing, and other goods and services, including clothing expenditure, education, culture, entertainment, food, health care, and urban The elderly population has a relatively close correlation with consumer demand. Finally, according to the empirical results of the influence of urban population aging in Anhui Province on urban residents' consumption, the paper puts forward corresponding policy recommendations.Rationally use the resources of the elderly population to improve the social participation of the elderly population.Through social participation,we will enrich the lives of the elderly and make up for the loss of the elderly population. We will develop the urban elderly market and vigorously develop the elderly industry. We will enrich the elderly population market, meet the consumption needs of the old population, enrich the spiritual life of the elderly population, make the elderly population daring to spend, improve various social security systems, and cultivate professional service personnel.Effectively protect the self-interest of the elderly population.
