With the rapid development of China’s economy,the domestic retail industry has entered a rapid growth period,the rise of domestic and foreign retail chain brands,the retail market shows fierce competition.and the strong competitiveness of the retail industry from the supply chain management,supplier is the most important part of supply chain management,retailers and suppliers to establish a good strategic cooperative relationship is particularly important.On the relationship between retail industry and suppliers,the author takes the retail giant Wal-Mart as an example to summarize the relationship between the Wal-Mart supermarket chain(China)and its suppliers.The paper is divided into four parts,the thesis first carries on the theory summary,introduces the actual case to carry on the demonstration demonstration,and carries on the data analysis,has demonstrated and analyzed the Wal-Mart and the supplier relations influence factor,has carried on the thorough research to the Wal-Mart and the supplier cooperation relations factor.The contents are as follows:(1)The first part briefly introduces the research background,purpose and method of the thesis,and puts forward the main significance of this paper.(2)This paper introduces the development history and current development strategy of Wal-Mart,the world retailer Giant,and understands the specific operating conditions of the company.(3)then analyzes the Wal-Mart supermarket supply chain management model and Supplier relationship processing method,and obtains the main supply chain relationship processing mode of Wal-Mart.(4)A questionnaire was sent to retailers and suppliers,the main retail enterprises in the survey were Wal-Mart’s major staff and their suppliers,mainly large enterprises in the consumer goods industry,including domestic enterprises and multinational companies that produce food,beverages,daily chemicals and daily necessities.The investigation includes the cooperation strategy,the retail backstage management and the supplier cooperation/the optimization product supply and so on element analysis.Based on the average value of each factor,the paper sums up the factors that are closely related to retailer and supplier’s two-way cooperation,and concludes the performance of two-way cooperation between retailers and suppliers.This paper studies the relationship between Wal-Mart and its suppliers:Wal-Mart’s relationship with suppliers is related to its strategic development and industry profit and market share,the use of the relationship processing should be information-sharing,improve information transparency,increase trust,enhance the risk resistance of both sides,establish common development goals,To resolve the issues of mutual interest in the payment of funds,quality of goods,reduce transaction prices. |
