The coordinated development of regional science&technology,economy and ecology is an important way to solve the problem of unbalanced and uneven development in China.In the past,research on the coordinated development of regional science&technology,economy,and ecology mostly started from the perspective of the scale of the three systems,and the evaluation was one-sided.To this end,the paper combines statistical analysis,quantitative models,and qualitative analysis methods to design an evaluation index system for science&technology,economy,and ecology,and to construct a comprehensive index model for science&technology,economy,and ecology.On this basis,the paper analyzes and compares the coordination between science&technology,economy,and ecology in eastern,central,western and northeast region of China in 2009-2016,and proposes corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.The results of the study indicate that:(1)The level of scientific&technological innovation is decreasing in eastern,central,western and northeastern regions,but technological progress in the eastern region is weaker than that in the western,central and northeastern regions,and the allocation of scientific&technological resources in the eastern and central regions is irrational.The issue of insufficient science&technology investment in the western region is more serious.Regardless of the irrational allocation of scientific&technological resources in the northeastern region,or the lack of scientific and technological input,the issue is serious.(2)Level of economic&social development as a whole of the eastern region is far higher than the central and western regions,and the northeast region is the most backward.(3)Regarding the construction of ecological environment,the degree of environmental pollution and the investment in environmental governance is decreasing in eastern,central,western and northeastern regions,but the environmental constraints have different advantages in different resource regions.(4)In terms of the coordination of science&technology,economy,and ecology,the eastern region as a whole is superior to the central and western regions,and the central and western regions are better than the northeast regions.However,there is a problem of the decline in the degree of coordination between the ecosystems and other systems in the eastern region.The west,north and east regions have achieved year-by-year growth in most cases.Combined with the analysis of the scale of science and technology,economy and ecosystem,we can find that the reason why the degree of coordination and coordinated development of the three systems in the eastern region is not ideal is that there is a certain gap between the scientific&technological innovation level and economic&social development level of and the level of eco-environmental construction caused by the rapid development of science&technology and economy and the relatively slow governance of the ecological environment;the reason for the higher degree of coordination between the three systems in the central and western regions and the lower degree of coordinated development lies in the slow development of the three systems of science&technology,economy and ecology;The low degree of coordination and coordinated development of the three systems in the northeast regions is due to the fact that the development delays of the science&technology systems and economic systems relative to other regions have exceeded the extent that the ecosystem is superior to other regions.
