Research On Inventory Control For Spare Parts Of Yutong Overseas After-sales Service

In recent years,the domestic market of Buses has becomes competitive and saturated seriously,and more and more buses manufacturers have to go abroad to expand oversea market.Yutong Bus has expanded its overseas market since 2000.During the expanding the overseas market,Yutong successfully entered the overseas market by its own unique service model.Yutong has made some great achievements and keep the No.1 on the exporting the buses.However,there is also some problems to meet the customer's demand of the service spare parts and unreasonable inventory structure.The service spare parts is difficult to supply because the special conditions,so as to most of the auto manufacturers.Therefore,the inventory management of the spare parts has always been researched by the auto manufacturers.Based on the actual forecasting and inventory management of Yutong overseas service spare parts,and using the related theories of spare parts forecasting and inventory control as guidance,It also is proofed and analyzed that the relationship is between the optimized the forecasting and the inventory and the improved availability of the spare parts and reasonable inventory structure.The research mainly contents:(1)ABC classification of overseas service spare parts and some related problems;(2)The forecasting model on the service spare parts and some related problems;(3)The management of the full life of the spare parts and some related problems;(4)The management of the demand on the intentional spare parts.The conclusion of this paper is as follows: The current classification of the service spare parts is unreasonable;The method of the spare parts forecasting is simple;And the management of the intentional spare parts is out of control.These reason caused that the service spare parts is difficult to obtain,and the inventory structure is unreasonable.Finally,based on the related theory of inventory control,this paper presents that the improvement of the secondary classification of spare parts,the improved forecasting method based on frequency and value,the whole management of the life cycle of the spare parts,and the efficient management of the intentional order of spare parts.hoping to provide a theoretical basis on the spare parts forecasting and inventory management control to Yutong and other auto manufactures.
