Study On The Export Trade Of Russian Natural Gas

Russia is rich in natural resources and has always been a big country in energy and resource exporting.But now the international situation in the national policy change constantly,raging like a storm,for example,due to the political factors in the United States,on Russia’s foreign energy trade above make a fuss,put forward a series of sanctions on Russia,these resources output caused great obstacles.The reason is restricting the Russian gas export trade mainly has two aspects,on the one hand,after the United States since the discovery of shale gas in this new energy has been seeking support for exploitation and utilization of this energy technology,shale gas has a large amount of energy stored in the United States,once mining is bound to lower the price of its advantage to threat the natural gas in the world energy market status.On the other hand,European countries because of geographical reasons with land resources,energy has been relying on neighboring Russian Federation,but they also found that due to the dependence on energy and bring in the international situation on the passive,and also began to actively carry out the exploration and exploitation of shale gas,in order to increase with Russia in the natural gas on the bargaining chips.However,China has implemented a diversified energy import strategy,so the degree of dependence on Russia is not as high as in European countries.Based on this background,this paper studies the export of natural gas in Russia.On the basis of previous research,this paper analyzes the current development status of Russian natural gas in the world natural gas market and the Russian natural gas exports,favorable conditions of Russia’s gas export predicament,to expand the main partners market prospects,the current Russian Ross natural gas export barriers and Russian gas exports the main partners in the market.This paper further explained the Russian natural gas exports by gravity model,then find out the impact on Russia’s natural gas export trade variables and test the significance of these variables,finally this paper also forecasts the Russian exports to China’s trading partners the major amount of natural gas.The main conclusions are as follows:the main problems facing Russia’s natural gas exports:the United States into a new variable,the natural gas market of natural gas industry in Iran,Qatar capacity to release more LNG to South Asia and Europe,the EU is actively promoting the third phase of the natural gas market liberalization reform,Russia natural gas price dispute,even submitted to international arbitration the Central Asian countries seek to diversify exports.Advantages of Russia’s natural gas export to Asia market:long-term cooperative partnership with China,cultivation of Sino Asian natural gas raw material base,and Russian government’s adjustment of natural gas development strategy.Russia’s constraints on natural gas exports to Asia:Japan follows Europe and America,sanctions against Russia,competition in Asia,politics and economy,and Russian gas export costs.
