Research On Tug Fuel Procurement Management Of D Port Tug Barge Company

With the continuous development of the shipping industry,the tug industry plays a more and more significant role of in the shipping industry status.As a ship must be used in and out of the port services,tugs and Tugboat companies in the sea transport occupy an irreplaceable position.Tug fuel is the main material of the company’s procurement,accounting for about 70%of the procurement costs of the company,directly affecting the company’s operating conditions.Fuel procurement is necessary to ensure that the normal operation of the tug is not affected,but also to minimize procurement costs for the company to save operating costs.However,in the actual procurement process,due to the improper operation of the company procurement management,the company always can’t achieve the optimization of fuel procurement strategy or reasonably reduce the cost of the fuel,caused a certain threat.I have been working in the tugboat company for many years,and understanding the D Port Tug Barge Company’s tug fuel procurement management in-depth.In this paper,we will summarize the process and methods of the tug fuel procurement process and combine the knowledge of purchasing management theory to analyze the problems in the process of tug fuel procurement management and the impact on the business operation.By combining the procurement and supplier inventory,the optimization model of the tug fuel procurement strategy is designed and the applicability of the model is verified by an example.The results show that the procurement model can effectively reduce the fuel purchase cost and achieve the purpose of reducing the purchase cost for the company The Finally,the paper puts forward the improvement measures of procurement management from the aspects of purchasing concept,purchasing system and process,talent construction,purchasing strategy,information system,supplier management mode and performance evaluation mechanism,which is the improvement method of purchasing management.It is of practical significance to provide reference for the fuel procurement management of the Tugboat Tanker Company.
