Schedule and cost are the the most critical direct factors influencing the con struction project,which is the easiest to deviate from the plan during the process of project implementation,and the influence of various factors can cause the ch ange of schedule and cost so that the project construction success or failure has a close connection with the schedule and cost management level.Nowadays,mar ket decides success or failure,so only low cost construction investment projects can be unbeatable in fierce market competition,and create a good living space f or enterprises.Therefore,we must improve project management skill in the const ruction project,saving the cost and increasing efficiency,and accumulate advance d experiences of schedule and cost management in practice,in order to lay a sol id foundation for the low cost construction of industrial enterprises.Based on the related theories of project management and the characteristics of industrial projects,this paper studies the application of EVM earned value me thod and WBS decomposition method to the EPC general contracting project in i ndustrial project schedule and cost management.Taking the management of flue gas desulphurization EPC general contracting project(ProjectA)of Chongqing Qi nengElectric Aluminium Co.,Ltd.as a case,this paper studies the process of pr oject schedule and cost control using EVM earned value method and WBS deco mposition method in the implementation process.Main topics:(1)Based on Project A in the implementation of EVM based on earned valu e principle and WBS decomposition method of project schedule and cost control process is analyzed,elaborated the EPC project in the implementation process o f WBS decomposition and EVM measurement method of tracking data and para meter calculation method of earned value,and got the assessment report of proje ct schedule and cost management through EVM earned value parameters on proj ect progress the cost of the difference analysis.(2)Analyzed and summarized Project Athrough EPC general contracting mod el,which adopts the EVM earned value principle and the WBS decomposition m ethod for progress and cost management.According to the research and analysis of the full text theory and case,this thesis is finally summarized,and the prospe ct of the schedule and cost management of the industrial construction project is put forward.The research of this paper is not only an analysis and expansion for the sc hedule and cost management of industrial projects,but also a reference value for the future progress and cost control of similar industrial projects under the RPC project management mode.
