The Relationships Among Proximities,Network Characteristics And Technology Standardization Under The Standard Network

With the unceasing development of advanced technology such as computer technology and Internet technology,the world economy has stepped into the stage of globalization.Under the background,economic development and the enterprise competition strategy began to change.Technology innovation and standard setting became the main reasons of enterprises competitive and economic development.The way of competing changed from zero-sum game into a cooperative competition,The relationships and alliances sat by organizations made the knowledge capital flows be multinational and networked.For the consistency and excludability of technology standards,organizations and enterprises had compatible technology standard occupy the absolute advantage in the market competition.The research on standards has important practical significance,and gradually to the attention of the scholars in our country.The research,based on the theory of knowledge dependency,knowledge search,combined with the feature of standard data,patent data and business data,used the social network analysis,analyzes 468 organizations participated in technology standard cooperation and builds techno logy standard cooperation network.The research used the individual network as the research object,carries out a large sample empirical study and discusses the influence of technology proximity in cooperation network and organization proximity which affected on enterprise's technology standardization,and whether network characteristics affect the relationship between network proximity and technology standardization.The results show that the technology proximity,organization proximity and technical standards are in inverted U-shaped relationship in the technology standard cooperation network.The reach-efficiency and the network density are positively correlated with technical standardization;The network density moderates the inverted U-shape between the organization proximity and the techno logy standardization,makes the curve be more gentle.The reach-efficiency moderates the inverted U-shape between the organization proximity and the technology standardization.The research conclusion offers reference for the enterprise about the exploring of the relationship between individual network characteristics and technology standardization,and provides a theoretical guidance to enterprises to establish its own standards to improve the ability of technology standardization and market competitiveness.
