Approaches Of Transformation And Upgrade Of Tea Industry In Shaanxi Province

The tea industry is not only one of the five leading industries in Shaanxi Province,but also the leading industry of poverty alleviation in the mountainous areas of southern Shaanxi.At present,Shaanxi tea industry is facing with the problem of how todeepen the reform and opening-up in all fields,speed up and transform the economic development mode of tea industry.It is an arduous task that the structure adjustment and transformation of tea industryto make the peasant rich.To study the way of the transformation and upgrade of tea industry,investigate and understand the present situation of Shaanxi Tea industry,analyze the advantages and production obstacles,find out the existing problems of the development are all necessary.Besides,combinethe actual situation of industry developmentwiththehelp of theory tools such as industrial cluster,strategic countermeasures could be explored and formulated for the transformation and upgrading of Shaanxi tea industry.This article research use the theoretical analysis method,empirical research method,data analysis method,document data method and other research methods and summarize the main problems in Shaanxi tea industry.Until the end of 2016,area of tea plantation has reached to158000 hm~2,105000 tons of tea production has made the production value of 35 billion RMB in Shaanxi Province.In conclusion,teaindustry development still exist some problems,the high consumption of tea resources,theexistence gapof"green tea",the low utilization ratio of tea resources,the single industrial structureandlimitedextension,the low degree of organization,the poorsocialized production,the low contribution of science and technology and thesmall international market space.Meanwhile,opportunities such as on building moderately prosperous society,the national development strategy of"The Belt and Road",promoting the construction of ecological civilization,targeted measures of national precision poverty alleviation and poverty reduction,andvigorously development of modern agriculture are still exist.Challenges also coexist,the re-development of the domestic market,and the growingglobal downward pressure on the economy.According to the historical advantages,location advantages and basic orientation of tea industry in Shaanxi Province,six approaches totransform and upgrade tea industry in Shaanxi Province are put forward.They are:Strengthenfoundationandstandardizeteaplantation(strengthen construction of tea plantations for mechanization management and make effort to improve the quality and safety level);Optimize the structure and brandproduct;Promote the development of Shaanxi Tea industry(including functional tea beverage and tea food development;extraction and utilization of medicinal components of tea;tea daily necessities and cosmetics development);Cost reductionandentire mechanization;Formula fertilization and integrative water and fertilizer planting technology;Improve quality and efficiency such as process cleansing.
