Nowdays,with the progress of the society and the development of the market,the competition between enterprises has become increasingly intense,confronted with all kinds of increasingly complex risks.Under such circumstance,many companies decide to take diversified strategy to cope with the risks,create new economic growth and maintain sustainable development.However,diversification is not a prescription that can be used for all.Instead,diversifying accelerate some companies' decline.Therefore,it is very important for a company to have a proper self-position and find the strategy that suits its development in the complicated market environment.At present,the domestic infrastructure market overall presents a shrinking trend,and overcapacity has become an prominent factor in the development of the industry.In this context,many building industries have chosen the strategy of diversified development,which includes the relevant diversification,that is horizontal or vertical integration.There is another way--non-relevant diversification,which means getting into new-emerging field by investment leverage,and a batch of giant enterprises born.However,"dangerous beach" also often lies in the back of prosperity,such as the weaken of core competitiveness,the high price low profit,high asset-liability ratio,heavy deficit.Over all,the strategy of diversified development of domesltic construction enterprises is still in exploration stage.Requiring more study on system,mechanism,legislation,management and other aspects.Twenty Bureau of China Railway Group four company is a subsidiary of three world top 500 enterprises Chinese railway owned by Limited by Share Ltd.It is also one of the 137 largest engineering companies with the largest number of employees,the largest and the most powerful companies.The company in the years of practice,formed the development pattern of the two main in the engineering construction,railway transportation,but also has a competitive strength in railroad building,mining,overseas business,but by the development of ideas,and the environment and scale effect,there are also extensive management,low production,Gregory Industrial development is not balanced,a serious brain drain,cash flow difficulties and other issues,is trying to explore the "breaking" road.It can be said that this is a company with both advantages and disadvantages,and it is a good research sample.In this paper,combined with the actual development of China Railway twenty bureau group four company,using PEST,SWOT,Boston matrix tool of enterprise internal and external environment and industry environment are analyzed,the existing industrial layout is studied,the development of enterprises although encountered some bottlenecks,but is still in an important period of strategic opportunities for development.Enterprise is the main advantage of stable culture,excellent team,strong financial support and national policy support,the disadvantage is that the decision-making mechanism is not flexible enough,personnel flow is too fast,weak execution,lack of profitability,the incentive mechanism does not fully play the aspects.Through research,we finally make the strategic choice of implementing diversification.The main measures of the diversification strategy are:improving the competence of engineering by strengthening main business;Expanding into urban rail transport and smart parking field by making most use of investment;Building a brand of rail construction by expanding overseas development;Promoting the continuous development of test by a wide range of management;We will gradually withdraw from railway and cultural media domain.The supporting system of the company's diversification strategies are:to increase the training and introduction of talents,to build a high-quality team that can meet the development of all sectors;to coordinate and protect thef funds theto promote sound development;to strengthen technical training and equipment upgrading to enhance core competitiveness;to speed up the construction of informationization and enterprise culture and enhance the soft power of enterprises.This thesis adopts the research method of combining theory with practice,which pays attention to both theoretical support and practical basis.Through the analysis,put forward the development ideas of the diversification strategy of sample enterprises,formulate implementation measures and specific safeguard measures,which will be an important reference for the development of enterprises,and in other similar enterprises also have a certain significance.
