Research On Housing Security Of Low-income Groups In Urban Areas Under The Background Of High Housing Prices

Housing problem is inevitable for every country with housing being a necessity for people's life.In recent years,with the deepened marketization of housing and widened gap between the rich and the poor in China,the amount of increase on residents' housing expenses has been much larger than that of their income.Therefore,housing has become the primary economic burden for both individuals and families,especially for the middle-and-low income group.They can not reach the average housing standard even with housing loans.Social problems caused by housing issue are getting more prominent.In order to reach the home ownership goal in building harmonious society,it is necessary to improve the housing security level and satisfy the housing need of the middle-and-low income group.In Dongying city,with lots of measures taken by the government to secure housing for the middle-and-low income group in the past few years,the housing conditions have been greatly improved in whole.However,there remain some problems in housing security.Through analyzing these problems and reasons and combining related advanced experience abroad with the practice in Dongying city,this thesis tries to propose some suggestions on improving the urban housing security system in China.The thesis consists of six parts.In the first part,the author introduces the background and significance of the research as well as the research methods mainly adopted.Introduction on related research done both at home and abroad is also included in this part.In the second part,some concepts such as the middle-and-low income group and housing security system are explained,and some related theories,for example,social security theory and impartial distribution theory are illustrated.In the third part,the author makes deep analysis on the historical and present status of the housing security for urban middle-low income group under the background of high housing prices in China.In the fourth part,the present housing status of the middle-and-low income families and the housing security policy taken in Dongying city are analyzed.In the fifth part,the author lays more emphasis on analyzing the problems and reasons on housing security for middle-and-low income group in Dongying city.In the final part,through analyzing the housing security status in some developed countries and regions and summarizing experience that can be used,the author proposes suggestions on improving the urban housing security system in China.
