Evaluation Of Land Resources Carrying Capacity In Jinjiang City

Along with the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization in Jinjiang City,the contradiction between the demand of limited supply of land and unlimited demand for land is very outstanding.The city development gradually faces some problem with resources,population,economy,environment and so on.Land is the carrier of urban survival and development which can’t be regenerated as a kind of scarce resource.In a certain time and space,it’s bearing capacity is limited.Therefore,to study on carrying capacity of land resources in Jinjiang City,including the analysis and evaluation of bearing the background and bearing statues of land resources,and to make the suggestions about adjusting land-use function and the rational exploitation and utilization of land so that the land can be used in harmony are particularly important.In this paper,the land resources carrying capacity in Jinjiang City is choosed as an evaluation object,to the plots and township as the basic unit of evaluation,based on the analysis and identification of key influencing factors of land resources carrying capacity,the evaluation index system of bearing the background and bearing statues of land resources and evaluation method model are constructed to make the quantitative evaluation of land resources carrying capacity in Jinjiang City by applying GIS technical means.According to the evaluation results,the countermeasures and suggestions about adjusting land-use function and the rational exploitation and utilization of land in Jinjiang City are put forward.The research conclusions show that:(1)The land resources development and construction of suitability in a higher overall level,the very suitable for the development and construction of land area accounted for the proportion of the total land area of 63.51%,mainly distributed in ow-lying plains,platform areas and low hills and gentle slope areas.(2)The land resources suitable for agricultural production in Jinjiang city is not much,the very suitable and suitable for agricultural production of land area is18902.3 hectares,accounting for the city’s total land area of 28.54%;basically suitable for agricultural production of land area is 3297.31 hectares,accounting for the city’s total land area of 4.98%.(3)The land resources development and utilization of bearing status I level(can be carried)area is 44315.31 hectares,accounting for the city’s total land area of 66.89%,bearing state Ⅱ level(critical)area is 19107.65 hectares,accounting for the city’s total land area of 28.84%,bearing state Ⅲ level(overload)area is 19107.65 hectares,accounting for the city’s total land area of 4.26%.The proportion of Ⅰ and Ⅱlevel area accounts for 95.74%,indicating that the matching degree of land resources development and construction and suitability evaluation in Jinjiang is generally higher.(4)The cultivated land population carrying capacity index is 0.17,the capacity of arable land is a serious overload state;the city’s urban construction land population carrying capacity index is 0.77,belong to the mild overload state;rural residents of the city land population carrying index was 2.07,which belongs to the load.(5)Although the current land development and construction in Jinjiang City are still some potential,but by the land development high intensity and construction land indicators and arable land balance restricted,the land resources to further develop the scale of construction is very limited,land resources development and utilization into the incremental constraints and stock tapping the potential stage.(6)According to the status of land resources carrying in Jinjiang City,the paper puts forward the suggestions of improving the land use potential and improving the land use efficiency,strictly cultivating the cultivated land balance,effectively protecting the cultivated land,strengthening the construction and management of the cultivated land quality and ensuring the food security,and improving the carrying capacity of the land resources to achieve the sustainable development of social economy.
