Evaluation On The Development Level Of New Urbanization In Yangtze River Economic Zone

Yangtze River economic zone,as the most influential and potential region in China's economic development pattern in the future,has an important strategic position in the overall pattern of regional development.At present,there are some problems in Yangtze River Economic Zone,including unbalanced regional development,serious ecological damage and poor life level of the citizens.However,the new urbanization pays more attention to the improvement of material life and spiritual life of people,and attains economic development,beautiful environment and social harmony,which is also the inevitable choice for Yangtze River Economic Zone to achieve regional coordinated development and narrow the gap of urban and rural areas.Therefore,in the perspective of the development level of the new urbanization,this paper comprehensively evaluates the new urbanization' development level of Yangtze River economic zone,and explores the new urbanization development strategy,which can provide scientific decision-making basis for regional development.Yangtze River economic zone's nine provinces and two cities are selected as the research objects in this paper.This paper constructs the index system of evaluating the development level of new urbanization from the four research perspectives of economic development,social progress,environmental quality and innovation level,including four first-level indicators and 23 second-level indicators,which uses the statistical data of 2014 to comprehensively evaluate the development level of new urbanization of Yangtze River economic zone by using the factor analysis.On this basis,the clustering analysis is used to scientifically divide the new urbanization level of each province to understand the development level and regional difference of the new urbanization in the Yangtze River economic zone.Finally,according to the status quo of the new urbanization development of the Yangtze River Economic Zone,it puts forward some suggestions on how to accelerate the development of the new urbanization in the Yangtze River Economic Zone,including adhering to the core of the people,optimizing the industrial structure,improving the infrastructure construction,coordinating the urban and rural development,strengthening the protection of ecological environment.
