With the rapid development of Chinese economy,the enterprise competition is entering the increasingly fierce era,but the most intense competition is the competition of talents.That is to say,how to attract and retain talents becomes the top priority for enterprises,while the level of salary management gradually becomes the key factor and important means of enterprise competitive advantage.Therefore,to establish and implement scientific,standard,fair and reasonable salary system is very significant to make maximum value of human capital of enterprises and promote the steady and rapid development of enterprises.This paper takes the improvement of salary system of Zhongao Food Company as the object of study.First of all,on the basis of consulting a large number of domestic and foreign literature about the salary management theory,using the methods of literature research,data research and questionnaire survey,analyzes the current internal and external environment of company fully,then finds out the existing problems of salary system,and analyzes the reasons of the problems.Secondly,through job analysis,job evaluation,salary level setting and performance evaluation index design,optimizes the company's salary system,and reclassifies it into five parts,including performance salary,allowances and subsidies,welfare salary and bonus salary,which corresponds to the different ways to pay.In addition,it develops the company's salary structure,for example,resetting the salary performance assessment indicators,standardizing allowances and subsidies,increasing employees' optional welfare and redesigning the bonus salary.What's more,it enhances the salary level of various categories staff of the company,so the overall level of the company's salary will be much higher than the salary level of the same industry of local areas.Meanwhile,it adjusts salary systems,sets up the salary teams,develops the new systems and attaches importance to carrying it out efficiently.Finally,in order to ensure that the improved design of the company salary system comes into effect successfully,it establishes the four safeguard measures,including the supporting of company's top managers,the integration of humanistic management concept,the increasing of staff participation and the strengthening of the construction of enterprise culture.Besides,it expects to reach the effect to improve employees' satisfaction,to achieve the incentive function of salary and to boost the implementation effect of strategic target of the company's development.Through researching the improvement design of the salary system of Zhongao Food Company,it's known that it not only has important practical guidance significance to improve the level of salary management and enhance the competitiveness of the company,but also has an important demonstration effect on the salary management level of small and medium-sized enterprises in China.
