An Analysis Of Export Competition Of Natural Rubber Of Thailand

Thailand,Indonesia,Malaysia and Vietnam are the main producers and exporters of the world natural rubber.Because Thailand' s resources advantage and area of rubber plantation advantage,thus Thailand has become the world's largest producer and exporter of natural rubber.Though Thailand is the biggest producer and exporter of natural rubber in the world at present,but the advantage of foreign trade is obvious,showing a falling trend.So it should analysis export competitiveness,be able to understand the status of natural rubber of Thailand in the world market and factors that can affect to export competitiveness.This paper analyses the export competitiveness of Thai natural rubber to world market,reviewed the current problems of export of Thailand natural rubber.Meanwhilecompares export competitiveness of Thailand and other countries in world market by using the index value of International Market share,Trade Competitiveness indexand Revealed Comparative Advantage.Thenselect the variables that affect Thailand natural rubber from based on the diamond model,study also investigates the factors determining the export competitiveness of Thai natural rubber exported to world.These data were used in determining the coefficients of the econometric model through applications of the ordinary least squares(OLS)method utilizing the Econometric Views(Eviews)software computer program.The compared with Indonesia,Malaysia and other countries,the analysis of the export market share,trade competitiveness index and Revealed Comparative Advantage index all be in the lead.The analyze factors can affecting competitiveness of natural rubber exports of Thailand in world market showed thatraw material's price for production,the growth rate of labour productivity,the growth rate of manufacturing production index of rubber downstream industries,concentration ratio and the growth rate of manufacturing production index of natural rubber...
