Through the questionnaire and field investigation,the present situation of macadamia industry in Longzhou county had been investigated in a comprehensive way.The research methods and contents were as follows:1.The natural conditions and social conditions of the development of macadamia industry in longzhou were analyzed,the cultivation area,yield and cultivation management technology of macadamia nuts were studied.2.The varieties selection,seedling breeding and post-mining treatments of macadamia in longzhou were investigated.3.The strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and challenges of the macadamia industry were analyzed.The results of main problems for macadamia nut industry in Long zhou County:1.Farmers lack the ideological understanding and relevant departments fail to work in place,the development of the entire industry lacks the corresponding enthusiasm.2.Brand consciousness is weak and the degree of standardization is low.3.It is insufficient in the effective promotion of the processing and manufacturing enterprises in macadamia,it lacks the professional intensive processing factories and companies for macadamia..4.The publicity of professional planting technology is not in place.Countermeasures for Longzhou County to develop macadamia nut industry:1.Publicity should be strengthened to improve farmers' awareness of planting:Government departments need to intensify publicity.2.Concerted efforts and coordinated development:Government departments should carry out the planning work of future nut development in advance,give appropriate support policies and preferential measures to support production energetically,and support the land improvement and management,and arrange the infrastructure construction projects of industrial parks for nuts.3.Scale and specialized operation:The industry development operation mode of "company + base + cooperatives + farmers" should be adopted to construct high-quality nut demonstration parks and intensive processing enterprises,and to lengthen the nut industry chain,as well as to break through the market bottleneck of the nut industry,so as to realize the local processing and transformation of products and improve the added value of the products.4.Introduction of superior varieties and technical training:The relevant departments should pay attention to the introduction and planting of fine varieties,find out more suitable varieties of nuts planted in Longzhou County,while making great efforts for technical training,learning from others' planting management experience and technology,guiding farmers for scientific planting,and then enhancing efficiency.5.Expand the sales channels of nuts,solve the problems of single and unsmooth sales channels encountered in the listing of nuts,and help farmers solve the problem of selling fruit.
