Doosan Machine Tool Corporation's Procurement Management Research

With the increasingly competition of market in nowadays,how to keep own place in the fierce competition and make more profit is a very serious challenge that every company faces.Because of the competition,the price has been lower and lower and the profit become less and less.This makes many companies focus on the cost improvement.The success of cost improvement is closely related to the supply chain management of the enterprise.Traditional purchasing model of many enterprises is replaced by modern purchasing model.Purchasing is not a simple business of buying with money,but take part in the research and development of new model?testing?assembling and after service and so on.And also,includes the integration of external supply chain.Purchasing strategic plays a very important part in the strategy of enterprise and also a very important point that indicate the enterprise competition.As the research of objective,Doosan Machine Tool is discussed in this thesis.And the research target is procurement control that based on the stable supply management and bellow the premise that assures quality.Research external supply situation and internal purchasing management of enterprise,find out the problem of supplier management and purchasing structure?purchasing process?purchasing strategy?purchasing quality management,and analyzes the causes of problem.In term of external environment,the problem is insufficient understanding of suppliers' value and in term of internal environment,the problem is irrational purchasing structure and irregular purchasing process and imperfect quality management.The main cause is the higher-level leaders' ignorance for suppliers'value and the imperfect purchasing management regulation and independent performance assessment among related departments.And put forward the implementation steps and safeguards of the optimization scheme in the procurement management.The first step is setting new purchasing structure and quantizing assessment indexes,the second step is standardizing purchasing process and making new purchasing regulation,the third step is the cooperation experiment between the cross-functional departments in the early stage.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the procurement management optimization scheme,the corresponding measures should be carried out,mainly from the company's audit and supervision,corporate culture construction and human resources security.Finally forecasts and analyses problems that may come along after optimization.
