In today’s market environment,competition among enterprises has been the transition from relying solely on its own competitive advantages to supply chain competition.Enterprises must pay more attention to supply chain management in order to obtain a competitive advantage and maintain the leading position.The key to success in the global top 500 enterprises lies in the effective supply chain management.The member of enterprise in supply chain adopts effective collaboration and integration,achieves the goal of maximizing business efficiency.In a sense,the success of supply chain management creates a successful enterprise.As an important part of supply chain management,purchasing management is not only directly related to business efficiency,but also it affects the future of business.Purchasing management can stabilize the product quality,reduce costs,and enhance their core competitiveness.This thesis takes the G company as the research background,takes the whole contract purchase of refractory as the research object,discusses the theory of purchasing management and supply chain management,analyzes the present situation of refractory purchasing in depth,and points out the problems and weak links in the purchase of refractories.This thesis takes appropriate purchase management strategies and methods to integrate G company’s existing purchase resources.Purchase strategy is consistent with strategic objectives through improving refractory purchase management mode,improves supply chain management efficiency,and achieves their core competitiveness objectives.The main contents of this thesis are as follows.Firstly,this thesis introduces the background of G company,puts forward the research ideas,the main content and significance of this thesis.Secondly,it introduces the theory of supply chain and supply chain management.Thirdly,it analyzes the purchasing situation of G company,which points out that the traditional refractories purchasing in supplier quantity,cost,inventory capital occupation,responsibility definition exists many problems.Then it puts forward a new purchasing mode,which is to implement overall purchasing contract for important refractories.Finally,it introduces the main processes of refractory overall purchasing contract,supplier performance evaluation and supplier management in detail.This thesis also summarizes and prospects the overall contracting of refractory.
