With the advent of the era of financial disintermediation and the advance of interest rate liberalization,traditional commercial Banks in China is facing severe challenges in terms of profitability,operation mode and the size of the market.In recent years,the rapid development of Internet financial and the appearance of electronic commerce exert unprecedented impact to the traditional banking.Emerging payment tools such as Alipay and We Chat,as well as online financial products,are developing prosperously,which gradually gobble up financial products market share of the traditional bank branches.At present,our country commercial bank outlets still insist on traditional business philosophy.Layout design and the service mode is difficult to meet the customers' growing financial needs.Profitability fell sharply.Therefore,in order to cope with the increasingly fierce competition and the challenge of network finance,traditional commercial bank branch must abandon the old concept with profound change in terms of structure layout,mode orientation,channel building and innovation linkage.The Suzhou branch of Bank of Communications is at province level of head office with many outlets and abundant customer resources.But in recent years,for the influence of the external financial environment,growth and profitability continues to slow.Network transformation is imperative.The study of commercial bank branch transformation domestically or abroad is rarely involved in Suzhou branch.Therefore,the thesis analyzes the current situation,the facing problems and reasons accordingly of Suzhou branch transformation as an example,with effective measures using literature analysis,case analysis and comparative analysis research methods.
