| "Procrastination"is defined as "delaying the completion of task until the fell uneasy." by Albert Alice and William Klaus.Work Procrastination refers to the delays in work place.A considerable part of studies show that employee behavior of delay has affected work performance and job satisfaction in organization.Modern enterprise management is aimed at achieving comprehensive economic benefits which maximize the value of the enterprise,starting from the organizational development planning and overall development.At the same time,it emphasizing the strategic and dynamic management.Therfore the core of modern enterprise management is "people oriented",emphasizing the dynamic management and personal development.Business managers should fully mobilize the enthusiasm of all levels and departments.Also,they should take advantage of the theory of human relations and behavioral science to study employee’s mind and behaviors,in order to support and encourage the active participation of employees in the organization of production and development.In the past,the research object of "time management" was mainly based on the student group,or exploring the influence of academic delay,or the relationship between academic delay and students’ academic performance.This study explores the relationship among job burnout,self-efficacy and work delay.In order to improve the employee’s delay situation,enhance the organization performance and create "free enterprise spirt".Based on the researches on work procrastination,self-efficacy and job burnout at home and abroad,this study chooses the employees of Jiangsu Province to conduct interviews whose topic is work procrastination.Then,according to the interview results,the relevant research scale was selected,and 350 employees were surveyed.The relationship among the three variables is explored by using data processing software such as SPSS and Amos,The results are as follows:(1)Work Procrastination Questionnaire has high reliability and reliability,and it is an effective tool of work procrastination measurment.(2)Overall job burnout,self-efficacy and work delay in this study is in the middle and low levels.(3)In the statistics of demographic variables,job burnout has significant differences in gender,age and working years,educational level and marital status.Self-efficacy has significant difference in the type of work unit and marital status.Also as work procrastination,there are significant differences in gender,age and years of work,marital status,type of workplace,and job-hopping experience.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between job burnout and work procrastination.Also,there is a significant negative correlation between job burnout,work procrastination and self-efficacy.(5)Emotional exhaustion and cynicism in employee burnout play a positive role in predicting the delay in the work of employees,while the degree of employee self-efficacy plays a negative role in predicting the delay in the work of employees.(6)Self-efficacy of employees has mediating effect between the staffs emotional exhaustion and work procrastination,also between cynicism and work procrastination. |
