With the growing competition in China's banking industry,competition has transferred from traditional business competition to customer resources competition.Increasing influence of customers on banking market makes this change be accelerated.Commercial banks have taken measures to strengthen customer management,hoping that it can improve customers'satisfaction,give,full play to customers'potential values,and bring them more revenue by taking customer segmentation and differentiated services.However,in the process of practical operation,problems in customer management often cause inappropriate customer satisfaction and reducing customer satisfaction.The paper takes customer classification management theories as theoretical basis and takes JT Bank as research object.Based on analysis on the bank's individual customer segmentation and current situation of its individual customer classification management,problems in existing customer management system are explored,and a optimization plan are made to improve existing individual customer classification management.Some safeguard measures are also put forward to ensure smooth running of the optimization plan.The research applies clustering method to make further segmentation to individual customers of JT bank.Customer's personal risk preference is also taken into account in individual customer segmentation.And the optimization plan is established on the basis of the segmentation.
